Robert H. Wagner, DDS
I am an extrovert and a genuine “people person.” I enjoy meeting new people and actually connecting with them on a personal level. People get the sense that they are important to me because they are! I especially love the diversity of being a general, family dentist. The relationships I have built with my patients and staff are what add color and enjoyment to what I do.
I believe in giving the same careful consideration and personalized treatment that I would want and expect for members of my own family. I have had the pleasure of watching my patients grow up and start bringing in families of their own. They trust me, have confidence in me, and now entrust their precious family to me. How cool is that!?
My Journey to Dentistry
I grew up on the south side of Chicago and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison for my undergraduate education. While there, I played football for the UW-Madison Badgers, and developed a close friendship with the team dentist. He took me under his wing, so to speak. He knew I was in the pre-med program and suggested I look into dentistry. Based on further discussions and knowing my own personal strengths and personality, I became convinced that dentistry was the right choice for me.
I continued on to Loyola University-College of Dentistry in Maywood, Illinois, for my Doctorate of Dental Surgery. The rest, as they say, is history!
Commitment to Continuing Education
I have always been naturally curious and science-minded. I love to study the structure and function of how things work and why some approaches are better than others. Continuing education keeps me excited about my practice and eager to try new things. My patients can be confident that I stay well-informed and have intentionally pursued years of knowledge aimed at being the best dentist I can, which results in me and my team being the best choice for you.
I enjoy the challenge of designing a treatment plan that takes into account individual need, lifestyle, and circumstance. I enjoy taking the time to educate each patient so he or she can make an informed choice regarding the options, and encouraging the individual to be proactive about dental health. My patients can expect maximum effort, careful consideration, understanding of the latest techniques, and the experience that I as a seasoned dentist bring to their dental care.

Dedication to Family and Community
I moved to my wife’s hometown of Green Bay in 1985. I love this community and all it has to offer: the Green Bay Packers, the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, the arts, good restaurants, access to water sports, and great, down-to-earth people.
I was so lucky to marry Geri, my college sweetheart and best friend. Together we have five children and seven beautiful grandchildren thus far.
Our eldest daughter Jessica lives in Andover, Minnesota, with her husband and four children. Kimberly lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with her husband her three children. Matthew joined me in practice in 2017.
In 2007, Geri and I traveled to an orphanage in the town of Cheboksary, Russia, to adopt 14-year-old Anya and 13-year-old Tatyana. It has been a wonderful journey and our family is greatly blessed to have them. In 2014, our Anya married her high-school sweetheart Caleb, and in 2015, our Tatyana will be joining our practice as a certified dental assistant. We look forward to the continued growth of our family as we add more in-laws and grandkids!
After raising our family surrounded by dogs, cats, and horses, Geri and I are currently enjoying the autonomy and spontaneity that an empty nest allows. We love traveling to Iowa and Minnesota to see our older daughters and grandchildren, taking day trips to Door County, and time spent with friends and family. I also enjoy hiking, hunting, fishing, camping, motorcycling, flying, and sports — go Badgers!
Because of my interest in mentoring young people, I am a current board member at Lake Ellen Youth Camp, and have also served on the boards of Green Bay Christian School and the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. I am active in church leadership and look for ways to serve the people in my community both personally and professionally.
My Philosophy
My life’s philosophy is based on my faith, my family, and my country, pretty much in that order. My faith shapes my belief that every person I am privileged to treat has inherent dignity and value. I am sure that your family is as dear to you as mine is to me, so I am committed to affording your family the same careful care and attention I would want and expect for each member of my own family. I love our country and have spent years serving in the Army Reserves Dental Corps to help prepare our troops for service on and off the field. I strive to display honesty, integrity, and compassion in all areas of my life.
