Matthew Wagner, DMD

As a dentist, I am most passionate about helping my patients achieve normal oral health and function. It is rewarding to help people develop healthy smiles and educate them in preventive care. In doing so, I hope to enhance the quality of each person’s life.

I care about each of my patients as an individual and dedicate time to learning who they are, beyond their dental health. I love hearing about their lives, families, and passions. You meet so many interesting people in this profession and learn unique things if you ask questions and listen. The stories my patients share broaden my world and, I think, make me a better practitioner and person.

It is important for patients to understand that I am here to help them, whatever their dental needs. By working together, we can find the solutions to their concerns and undertake the work as partners, with the shared goal of a lifetime of bright and healthy smiles!

Education and Experience

Initially, I chose the oral healthcare field out of a desire to help people. Dentistry is a great combination of science, medicine, people, and working with my hands. After several years in practice, I have no doubt I chose the correct career path. It is satisfying to know I am helping people live better lives by giving them a more becoming smile, along with comfort and confidence while eating and speaking.

Continuing Education and Professional Affiliations

I am a lifelong learner and passionate about staying current on the latest knowledge and innovations in dentistry. Active continuing education allows me to have more and better answers for my patients’ questions. It also exposes me to new treatments and techniques to better serve my patients.

As a member of the

... I have many opportunities to learn and further develop my skills.

These organizations offer meetings, seminars, online courses, hands-on training, and many peer-reviewed publications. Making the most of these learning opportunities ensures I am continually growing and delivering the best of modern dentistry to my patients.

Beyond the Practice

I grew up here in Green Bay and am pleased to be serving a community I know and love.

When I go home in the evening, it’s to spend time with family. My wife Jenica and I met at a volunteer dental event in her home state of Florida. Part of the package, when we married, was a white, fluffy Pomeranian named Mika.

In June of 2020, our family grew when we welcomed our son Daxton into the world. It has been so much fun seeing him learn and grow over these past two years! As a family we enjoy spending time together, going on walks, and playing outside.

While time with loved ones is always my priority, I also enjoy fishing and flying, and am passionate about being involved with my church and serving others. As part of that, I volunteer for NWTC at the Dental Assisting school. It is an honor to train new assistants: giving them real-world experience and sharing my love of dentistry and patient care.
